The classes are held out of a spacious live-work loft featuring an expanded kitchen, near the 4th street Caltrain station, in San Francisco.

Who attends your classes?
Our classes attract a wide range of chefs, many who are passionate home chefs looking to expand their skills and deepen their comfort in the kitchen. Our instruction lies at the intersection of kitchen chemistry and culinary creativity and we develop recipes to excite and inspire and can be prepared again. No culinary experience is required and we lead you through the complete process of cooking, including how and where to select, source and store ingredients and offering ideas for seasonal substitutions.
Consider yourself a more experienced chef? You will still learn lots!
While some students attend as a couple or with a friend, many students attend on their own. We foster a friendly, supportive and collaborative environment that is fun, educational and informative. At the completion of the class, we all sit down and enjoy the meal together.
How much do classes cost and what does the price include?
Rates for Public group classes are $89 and the rate includes all ingredients and equipment, copies of the recipes for each student to take home, and after we have finished cooking, we sit down and enjoy the full meal that we prepared. A few times per month, we offer classes that add a cocktail recipe to the menu and these classes cost $99. Class payment may be made by cash, check or credit card.
Do you offer Gift Certificates?
Yes, we do offer gift certificates. Please click here for purchase information!. Gift certificates may be redeemed in any class, up to one year from purchase.
Can we bring wine?
You are welcome to bring beer/wine to enjoy with the class and meal.
