First Class Cooking offers hands-on cooking classes in a casual, supportive, and fun environment. All classes feature uncomplicated recipes and everything is made from scratch using top-quality, local, and seasonal ingredients.
Classes are designed to appeal to the most novice of cooks while also offering lots of information, kitchen tips, and culinary advice to more experienced chefs. Instruction is truly hands-on and class size is limited to 12 people to insure personalized instruction. Questions are welcomed at any time!
Premium Classes
First Class Cooking teams up with other professional partners to offer premium level classes each month. These classes cost $80 and fill up quickly. Please email me with any specific inquiries.
Wine Pairing
Carpe Vino! The right wine can really enhance a great meal. First Class Cooking teams with certified sommelier Robert Landsness to present wine pairing and cooking classes. A regional menu is developed and wines are carefully matched to the food and showcase the wines of that region. Previous regions have include: Australia and New Zealand, France, Italy, South America and Spain. Look for the next wine pairing class in August.
Enhanced Nutrition Classes: Cooking for Optimum Health
In noting the correlation between good nutrition and cooking, First Class Cooking has teamed with Wendi Holmes to demystify "healthy eating." In this class, we will focus on healthy fats and discuss the health benefits of certain fats while we prepare tasty, healthy recipes incorporating nutrient-dense ingredients.
